The Boggabri John Prior Multipurpose Service is a 20-bed facility which opened in 2002. It is named after Dr John Prior, a longserving medical officer of the town.We have four beds for acute /subacute care, nine nursing home beds (high care) and seven hostel (low care) beds. One of these beds is designated for respite care for both high and low-care needs.Clinical services provided by this facility include emergency, medical, aged care and community health. A limited radiology service is supplied by a registered nurse with a remote X-ray operator qualification.Community Health provides community nursing, wound management, foot care and early childhood service. Boggabri services three home care packages. Visiting support services include:
