At St Luke’s Hospital we are the leading provider of palliative and end-of-life care across the north of Tasmania and are the only private mental health facility in Northern Tasmania that offers a range of holistic and innovative treatment programs for inpatients and outpatients.

Our three operating theatres and a day procedure unit provide day and overnight surgical medical services across a broad range of specialties including orthopedics (our largest specialty), ENT surgery and dental surgery. Other services include palliative care, chemotherapy, general medical services, mental health care and sleep studies.

Calvary St Luke’s Hospital is affiliated with the University of Tasmania, and is a first choice placement for a variety of students.

Formerly owned by St Luke’s Health Fund, St Luke’s Hospital became part of the Calvary group in 2004. Calvary St Luke’s Hospital is a not-for-profit organisation, investing its returns to improve and develop facilities, staff and services for the continuing benefit of the community.
