Our new 105 bed hospital, located on the northern banks of the Pioneer River was opened in April of 2003.This new facility includes an expanded day surgery unit, and aims to continue the tradition of quality healthcare for which the Sisters of Mercy are renowned. The Mackay Mater prides itself on offering innovative health care services in a setting conducive to health and well-being.
