Redland Hospital is the major health centre for Redland City and Brisbane’s southern bayside suburbs. Our medical, nursing and allied health staff, along with our support staff and volunteers, are committed to working together to deliver quality care and services.
We provide care in a number of specialties including general medicine and surgery, cardiology, emergency medicine, obstetrics and gynaecology, orthopaedics, renal dialysis and paediatrics. We also provide a range of allied health and support services such as pharmacy, pathology and medical imaging.
In 2012, Redland Hospital completed a multi-million dollar expansion of our emergency department and paediatric service which included the creation of a dedicated paediatric emergency waiting and treatment area, an expanded emergency short stay unit, an expanded and refurbished paediatric ward, and a new paediatric ambulatory services wing as part of the Redland Health Service Centre.
Redland Hospital is co-located with the 60-bed Mater Private Hospital Redland, the Redland Health Service Centre and Redland Residential Care.
Redland Health Service Centre provides a range of community and primary health services including child health, BreastScreen, chronic disease management, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander liaison, palliative care and a public dental clinic.
Redland Residential Care is a 126-bed high care residential aged care facility. It includes eight residential transition care beds.
